I started AppliedFlow because I enjoy business—the variety, the decisions and the satisfaction of seeing something improve. And, perhaps surprisingly, the moments when something goes badly wrong and you have to find a way through. They really test your mettle. They're tough when you're in the thick of it, but keeping your head, working out what to do and coming through together can be the most rewarding part.
Having led a business myself, I know the value of someone who can understand what you're trying to achieve, take responsibility and help you make it happen. It's support I would have valued, and it's what I set out to provide.
My career has taken me through international sales and operations to Managing Director as part of a larger multinational group. That experience shapes how I work: understanding how a decision affects customers, your team, delivery and profit.

I start by listening and asking questions. The people doing the work often understand things that don't surface in a management meeting. Making room for those conversations helps us get to the real issue.
You can expect an honest view, clear commitments and follow-through. I'll challenge something when it needs challenging, and I'm comfortable with difficult decisions. They should serve the business and be handled respectfully.
What I enjoy most is seeing the intended result become real: someone confidently taking responsibility, new business coming in, or a team resolving something that has held them back. That's what makes the work worthwhile.
